Yes – the show is suitable for ages 10 and up. There’s no swearing or inappropriate content. That said, the show is aimed at adults, and our typical audience is made up of adults and couples. Children are welcome as long as they’re comfortable sitting through a full-length theatre performance.
The theatre is located in the Clifton area of Bristol, on Alma Vale Road. It’s easy to reach by car or by train. The nearest station is Clifton Down – just a short walk away. Street parking is available on nearby roads.
We usually welcome couples and small groups of friends. While we occasionally accept larger group bookings, we don’t host stag or hen parties. Large groups can sometimes disrupt the unique atmosphere of the show, which is designed to be intimate and immersive for everyone.
Yes – it’s a BYO (Bring Your Own) drinks event. You’re welcome to bring along your favourite drinks to enjoy during the show.
Absolutely. We make sure everyone feels comfortable. Audience interaction happens naturally and is always respectful – no one is ever put on the spot or forced to take part. If you’d prefer to just sit back and enjoy, that’s completely fine.
You can hire the magician for private events – just get in touch to discuss details. However, the venue itself is not available for hire.
The venue isn’t available for private hire, but you can book the Bristol Magic Show to perform at your party or event at a different location.
Yes – the theatre is fully accessible to wheelchair users. If you have specific access needs, feel free to let us know in advance.
No – to protect the atmosphere and preserve the surprise, we ask that no photography or filming takes place during the performance. We also ask all guests to switch off their phones before the show begins.
Sometimes – but we usually sell out in advance. To avoid missing out, we recommend booking your tickets online ahead of time.
The full show runs for approximately 90 minutes. It’s split into two 45-minute halves with a 15-minute interval in between.
No – just bring your confirmation email on your phone. We’ll have your name on the guest list at the door.
No – seating is unassigned. The theatre is small and intimate, and every seat offers a great view. Arrive early if you’d like to choose your preferred spot.
Doors open [e.g. 15–30 minutes] before the show. Please try to arrive on time – latecomers may not be admitted once the show begins.
Tickets are non-refundable, but you’re welcome to transfer them to a friend if you can’t attend. Just let us know their name in advance.
