What is Bristol Magic Theatre?
A tiny theatre built for one thing — live close-up magic
We’re a small, independent venue in Clifton with no big stage and no rows of seats: just a single table, eighteen guests, and a show that happens right in front of you.
Expect mind reading, clever sleight of hand and a streak of surreal comedy in a warm, plant-filled, candlelit room. Bring your own drink, settle in, and enjoy a night you won’t find anywhere else in Bristol.

With over 20 years performing around the world — from the Magic Castle in Hollywood to festivals in Adelaide, Edinburgh and across the UK — Si brings confidence, warmth and genuinely baffling sleight of hand to every show.
Sam King
Comedy magician
Originally from Australia, Sam learned to grab a crowd on the streets of Adelaide and has since taken his offbeat magic to over 16 countries. A multi-award winner (Best Magic, Adelaide Fringe 2024), he blends fast comedy with surprising tricks and a healthy dose of absurdity.
Gosia
Creative director
Trained in visual arts in Poland, Germany and at Bauhaus University in Weimar, Gosia shapes the entire world of the theatre — from the furniture to the tiniest prop. She is the reason the room feels intimate, considered and a little magical before a single card is dealt.
